Leona is the designer behind Rose + Daff. Growing up in the Wiltshire countryside, she then went onto study Surface Pattern Design at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Swansea. After graduating, she moved back to Wiltshire and worked as a Design Room Assistant for an independent Fashion Retailer for 2 years then moved onto working as a Specialist Painter for a contemporary handmade furniture company in Swindon. Inspired to live in Wales permanently after graduating, Leona took a leap of faith and moved into a Log Cabin on the outskirts of Cardiff – This is where Rose + Daff began and developed.

Always being drawn towards nature, health & wellbeing; Leona (who is also type 1 diabetic), is passionate to share her experiences on how turning to a plant based diet and exercise (especially yoga) has significantly helped living with and maintaining her diabetes. Moving to Wales also found her moving the direction of her career and she went onto working on an Organic Juice and Smoothie Bar in Cardiff, then moved onto working as an assistant Plant based Chef inside a Vegan Café whilst studying Naturopathic Nutrition at The School of Naturopathic Nutrition in Cardiff. 

Since becoming vegan and living a more sustainable and zero waste lifestyle, she describes herself as an ethical designer and her focus is to design greeting cards which are inspired by Holistic Lifestyles, Wholefood Diets and all things Natural.  Rose + Daff cards are made using FSC certified 100% Recycled Consumer Post waste papers and come with a Recycled Kraft envelope (to help support a Circular Economy).   

Leona is also a huge foodie & enjoys developing and sharing plant based recipes. She also makes and shares household & skin care recipes using natural ingredients from Mother Nature in recycled packaging and creates eco-friendly household products from natural materials.
